The Challenge & Solution

We completed a flat roof leak repair at a building on Morton Ave in Albany.

The issue came down to weak points on the roof where water can work its way in over time—typically around penetrations, transitions, and aged seam/detail areas. We inspected the roof surface and details, identified the most likely entry point(s), and focused the repair where the roof system was breaking down.

To fix it, we prepped the area properly (cleaned, removed failing sealant where needed, and made sure the surface was ready to bond), then installed targeted reinforced membrane patching and sealed the surrounding details to lock out water. We also checked the adjacent roof area to make sure the repair tied in cleanly and didn’t leave another weak spot right next to it.

We finished with a full cleanup and a walkthrough so the customer knew what we addressed and why.
