Fantastic service. Great men. I've had my original roof for about 20 years but I decided to take advantage of the free quotes that United Home Renovations offered. Bradley and Manuel came to the door as early as the next day and they talked me through the advantages of having my roof changed. I knew that my roof had to be changed sooner or later but I decided to not wait because I didn't want to suffer the consequences of waiting any further. Bradley, the sales representative, showed me the photos of my roof, explained to me about the materials/repairs they would be making, the time frame, and the warranty. I was comfortable with the process and put a down payment (half in the beginning) and waited for the entire thing to be done to give in my other half. The roofing team took a few days by ripping out the old roof and putting a new one in, and then cleaning everything afterwards. It was a very easy process and not at all stressful like I expected. I'm very happy with the new roof and I definitely recommend their services!

I had a roofing issue and contacted 5 companies asking for quotes. 3 came to visit to provide in-person estimate. United Roofing and Siding were one of them. Colton was the representative and I appreciated his detailed explanation of what to expect. We discussed EPDM roofing material, and decided to provide the 90mil product. Colton explained that the EPDM would be run up the siding and terminated with "Termination bars" (I didn't know what these were, or what they looked like). Other companies actually didn't know 90 mil existed. Red flag! Colton came back with the lowest estimate of all and I decided they would get the job. It was easy to get things going and a date was quickly decided upon. I experienced several issues, which were addressed. The problems were; when the team showed up to start the work, not one of them could speak English. I called Colton and he stated there should have been a supervisor there to translate and ensure the team understood what was required. Colton came over, the team came back and the work began. After a while Colton had to leave. The team completed the work. When they were done, I checked out the job and was taken aback at the black EPDM ruinning 12 inches up my siding, with ugly metal strips running along the siding, and across the window trim. It was pretty ugly. I called Colton and gave him my concerns. I apologied that I didn't really understand what he meant by the termination bars, and he explained that the product is required to run 8-12 inches up the siding as per manufactures requirements. They couldn't take off the siding and run the EPDM underneath because of the wooden siding material. I asked if "skirting" was available as I had done some research and found that this is the usual practice if the EPDM has to be applied over existing siding. He said his team could come back and provide skirting, and gratefully, Colton worked with me on the price, as I think he understood I really didn't fully realize what things were going to look like. His team came back again (and again, no one spoke any English, and no supervisor was in attendance) and they got Colton on the phone who explained to me and them what was to happen. They used a brake to bend color matching tin in the shape of the existing siding, which in the end looked alot better. I will have to do some trim work to make it look "finished". The other issue was the estimate specified green flashing to match what was there, but white was used. Overall, people at the home office are very responsive. Colton is a good guy to work with and the men did really good work. They were fast, cleaned up behind themselves (except for a caulk gun they left on the roof) and the price was excellent. This roof should never again leak in my lifetime, the United Roofing and Siding warranty is 10 years on workmanship and there's a lifetime manufacturer's warranty on the EPDM. 5 stars because they are good at what they do, fast responses when I had questions and provided solutions which are valuable. I'd recommend the company.
